Great pizza! Got a free one cuz they got our first order wrong but no worries, they noticed before we did. Super sweet waiter!

828 is absolutely delicious! This friendly restaurant has amazing pizza and apps. The best chicken Caesar salad i've ever had, and fresh, perfectly fried calamari. Don't miss this place!!

Heard about this place from a friend. It was a Friday evening so there was a 15-20 minute wait. While outside chatting with the locals time flew by. The hostess calls our name we were greeted with a smile as she lead us to our booth. As we were seating plates were brought to our table. The waitress came over asked what we wanted to drink. We finally decided on dinner that consisted of an antipasto salad with all the fixings, 16 inch pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. The slices were huge!! I could only eat one!! The crust was crispy and the bottom had a crunch. This was the best pizza I've had in a long time. So I've never been to NY and if this is how they do slices then I need a road trip!!

Looked for a good pizza for my pizza loving child! Waitress was friendly and quick. Nice family restaurant with ample seating. The sauce tasted fresh and the dough was good.

Wowzers! We went in a Friday night and they were lined out the door. Only had to wait 25 minutes though for our party of 2. The Spinach Bacon Salad was more like a BACON spinach Salad. So much bacon! The homemade salad dressing was very tasty! The pizza was great! Super thin crust with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. We got a medium pizza and we should have got a small. Definitely had leftovers. Our waiter was super kind and took the time to chat and was very accommodating!

Not much in the way of ambiance...service was excellent with friendly with attentive waiter. Prices are reasonable. Menu is not extensive, but adequate for a pizzeria. I had spaghetti with meatballs. The meat sauce was tasty and the meatball even better. Everyone else had pizza and there were few pieces left which were taken home by enthusiasts. So the 13 of us were happy folks.

Food is SOLID! We've been coming here for years. We have never been disappointed- which is the highest compliment I can give. The pepperoni, cheese, and crust on this pizza knew each other in a former life and taste perfect together without greasiness or too much saltiness. For that reason, the pizza makes an amazing next-day breakfast. The Beer on tap is always current, wines are drinkable and sometimes surprisingly good. The one thing we wish more than anything is for a full bar. But what they lack in cocktails they make up for in dessert selections. They usually have 3 different types of cake at any given time, so definitely bring your appetite to this place. The service is also tops. We were in and out in 45 minutes on this trip, with a salad course. (Don't snooze on the salad because it IS fresh!) We sat at the bar, but the wait was not egregiously long for Friday at 6:30. The dining room has both booth seating as well as a modest amount of tables for groups. The dining room always seems to be hopping as much as the takeout counter. Definitely go here. Do not hesitate. Even if you're a food snob- you'll like your food. And the wait staff is uncommonly friendly and collegial for a restaurant in Asheville, so bring your social on too.

I gave 4 stars bc of the super friendly staff and the patrons seemed to enjoy themselves. We got a small cheese pizza and a monster pizza. If you want a traditional pizza this is not it. The monster pizza was good but not delicious and the cheese pizza was ok, not with your "traditional mozzarella". I can understand why people like it, just not my favorite. With that being said I would eat here again to try some of their other dishes. Considering there was a line to get in and the amount of take out orders that went through the short amount of time I was there says something for the place. The atmosphere was casual and fun.

Solid pizza in Asheville, NC, that hits the spot. Heard it's the best in the area and it did not disappoint. Fun atmosphere inside and friendly service. Had a 12 inch traditional cheese pizza. Really like the presentation and how they blot the red sauce on top. Great undercarriage and nice thin crust. No flop on the slice. Think a little more garlic and basil in the sauce would have elevated it a tad. Great prices. Would gladly return if I am back in the area and looking for some pizza.
